Research Fellow

Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Microbiology or related fields
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and independent
  • Interested in science and be able to work well in a team
  • Prior experience with next-generation sequencing, animal studies, immunology, molecular biology, and/or bacteriology is preferred
    • Research Assistant

    A research assistant position is available in Chris Sham’s laboratory. The candidate will investigate topics related to capsule biogenesis and host-pathogen interaction. This research program is supported by a vibrant research environment and state-of-the-art facilities in the laboratory and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Based on the candidate’s experience and track record, a competitive compensation package will be provided.
